This narrow Calcium H image reveals the Sun’s magnetic framework rather than its familiar face.

Taken with a spectroheliograph, the image samples an exceptionally narrow 0.3 Å bandpass,
isolating calcium emission with far greater precision than wider filters.
This tight spectral slice suppresses photospheric glare and reveals
filaments and chromospheric detail that broader passbands blur or hide entirely.
